Family Literacy (KAP) Knowledge as Power Family Literacy (KAP) supports parents and smoothes the way to literacy in English and American culture for both child and adult, One of the primary goals of KAP is to prepare adults to assume responsibility for their child’s education.

English Language Learners The English Conversation Partners program matches a volunteer with someone wanting to improve English conversational skills. Typically, partners meet in a community space for an hour a week for informal conversation. Occasionally they go to a store together or a community event to chat. In addition to the goal of improving conversation skills, partners find they learn about each others' cultures.
