About Literacy Volunteers-Androscoggin

Literacy Volunteers-Androscoggin (LVA) was established in 1974. LVA is a nationally accredited affiliate of Pro Literacy America (formerly know as Literacy Volunteers of America).

Our mission is to provide free, one-on-one tutoring and other educational services to help adults in Androscoggin County acquire the basic reading, writing, and math skills they need to enhance their lives and achieve their personal goals.
